Love Hoddesdon’s ‘Award Winning’ Independent Insurance Broker Welcome Back Customers to offices

Having experienced two economic recessions during their 40-year history and now the Covid-19 pandemic, Ashbourne Insurance is delighted to have re-opened their Hoddesdon office this week for visitors to meet in person, by appointment, with social distancing and safety measures in place.  Ashbourne have been supporting the business and local community throughout lockdown providing advice and guidance on existing and new policies, suited to individual circumstances. The third generation, family-run insurance broker have won numerous business awards such as the Love Hoddesdon ‘Service Business of the Year 2019 Award’ for delivering outstanding customer service and during the lockdown the same high standards of customer service have been offered via telephone and a pivot to home working. In returning to work, staff and customers can be confident that health and safety for all is of paramount importance.

Yesterday, presenting at a Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce webinar helping prepare employers to get their staff back to office environments over the coming months, Peter Smits Managing Director of Ashbourne Insurance, reinforced the duty of care employers had to their staff, customers, stakeholders and local community; alongside updating risk assessment policies and procedures.

Leone Richardson, Commercial Account Manager at Ashbourne Insurance commented, “We are delighted to welcome back Ashbourne customers in a measured and considered way starting this week. As one of the first team members back at the office, I can confirm that our office has been updated to include social distancing matts, counter screens, and a cleansing station for customers. The office is open for customers ‘by prior appointment’ for the short-term. All staff have been allocated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), alcohol pads to clean equipment and hand sanitisers. There is no “hot-desking” and workstations have been repositioned to observe 2m distancing. Guidelines have been issued for the use of multifunction printers and welfare areas; toilets, kitchen and other “choke” points like entry and exit. It will be lovely to meet our regular and new local customers once again, but we do ask that you call ahead on 01992 471001 to let us know you will be visiting.”

Thomas Matthews, Retail Sales Advisor at Ashbourne,” The retail team are very much looking forward to be the first people to meet and greet customers upon their arrival at the office. Although it won’t be quite the same as before, we can assure you of a warm welcome and continue to offer a wide selection of the most suitable insurance products to meet your needs whether it be car, home, travel or business insurance. We search the market to offer the best products suited to your individual needs. Thank you to all our customers for their continued business and to the Ashbourne Management for taking great care of our team as we have returned to work. It is great to be back and we continue to want everyone to stay safe. “
