Ashbourne crown winner of the Inspiring Herts Business Awards “Family Business of the Year” 2018

This year’s Inspiring Herts “Family Business of the Year Award” was presented by Peter Smits, Managing Director of Ashbourne Insurance to MCP Property Services of Hertford.  The awards were presented at a Gala Dinner at St Albans Abbey, St Albans on Thurs June 7th in front of an audience of approximately 320 award finalists, judges and distinguished guests.

Independent insurance broker and Chamber Patron, Ashbourne decided to sponsor the award after winning several business award titles over past years, but in particular because they won at the National Family Business Awards in 2017 held at Wembley Stadium.  The 37+ year old family-run business has first-hand experience about the positive impact of winning awards and decided to become a sponsor to encourage Hertfordshire family businesses to get involved to raise the profile of their companies and celebrate accomplishments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
