The 2020 Inspiring Herts Business Awards “Family Business of the Year” Award finalists have been announced and 3rd generation family-run Ashbourne Insurance are pleased to offer their congratulations to all seven. The finalists include: Castaway Cottage of Hemel Hempstead, Gatwards of Hitchin, JHP Electrical of Bushey, JPA Workspaces of St Albans, Kane International of Welwyn Garden City, Kestronics of St Albans and Taylor Heating of Stanstead Abbotts.

This award recognises a Family Business who uses its unique core values to aid growth, demonstrate best practice, overcome challenges, and provide business excellence. This Category was open to an independent family owned business (a family member must own a majority share of the business) which has two or more employees from the same family working within it (in any position). To enter this award the Family business must have been trading for 18 months irrespective of size or sector.

The winning company will be automatically entered into the British Chambers of Commerce Business Awards for the opportunity to win a national business award.
Hertfordshire Chamber Patron, Ashbourne Insurance are sponsoring the award for the third year to honour all the family-run businesses and county ‘hidden-heroes’ who help contribute significantly to the UK’s economy.
Winners from twenty-two categories will be announced at a black-tie event at St Albans Cathedral on Thursday October 1st, 2020.
