Two Herts based charities, Teens Unite of Broxbourne and Isabel Hospice of Welwyn Garden City are joint benefactors of £3750 which represents the profits made at this year’s “Ambition 2016 Boost your Sales & Marketing” Conference held at the High Leigh Conference Centre, Hoddesdon last Monday, November 14th 2016.
Sarah Smits, Finance Director at Ashbourne Insurance commented, “We were proud to be one of the first sponsors of Ambition 2016 and as one of the original contributors last year to this innovative event. Both charities have been supported by Ashbourne for many years and we would like to thank the 95 delegates, motivational speakers who gave freely of their time, and fellow sponsors for exceeding the fundraising total from 2015.”
Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Founder of Teens Unite further added, “Our heartfelt thanks to Ashbourne Insurance who are a great supporter of Teens Unite for encouraging local businesses, many of whom are family-run, to support this inspirational event. We really appreciate the considerable amount of money raised to help support young people living with cancer and life limiting illnesses.”
Ambition 2016’s keynote speaker was Jack Ismail, the Retail Operations Director of family-rum Specsavers (pictured with Sarah Smits) who has worked with and observed some of the very best retail leaders in action such as M&S, Home Retail Group and Whitbread.
