Sarah Smits of Ashbourne Insurance was delighted to present this year’s Federation of Small Businesses Herts winning Service Excellence Award to Catherine Smith of Foxholes Farm Shop, Hertford. The runner-up certificate went to JTM Services Limited. They were presented at a Gala Dinner at the Manor of Groves Golf & Country Club, Sawbridgeworth on June 11th in front of an audience of approximately 350 award finalists, judges and distinguished guests.
Independent insurance broker, Ashbourne decided to sponsor the award after amassing many business award titles (local, regional and national) over the past five years. The 35+ year old family-run business has firsthand experience about the positive impact of winning awards and decided to become a sponsor to encourage local small business owners to get involved to raise the profile of their business and celebrate accomplishments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
The Service Excellence winner award was presented to Foxholes Farm Shop because they have the customer at the heart of their business and manage resources to most effectively meet and exceed the needs of their customer base. In most business disciplines the customer is offered a choice of supplier and Foxholes has plenty of that by way of 11 national supermarkets in the local area. Foxholes offer outstanding assistance and advice to their customers and they were able to provide excellent customer testimonials to prove their points.
Sarah Smits commented, “We were honoured to attend the FSB Herts Business Awards 2015 and present the winning Service Excellence award to Foxholes Farm Shop. Our congratulations to Catherine Smith and her dedicated team; and also to all the finalists who included: 001 Limited, JMT Plumbing and Heating Services, PaperRocket Accounting, John Laing Training and Sai Interiors. It was a very difficult category to judge and it always attracts a good range of quality entries from across many sectors. Ashbourne was privileged to win two FSB Herts business awards in 2014 and we congratulate all the winners and finalists for their hard work.”
