Ashbourne Awards 2013 – Winners Announced

Ashbourne Insurance hosted their first annual Employee Awards on Saturday, 7th December 2013. The evening was held at the beautiful Hanbury Manor Hotel and recognised the accomplishments of the company’s employees during 2013. The introduction of the Ashbourne Awards was inspired by Ashbourne’s success at numerous county, trade and national business awards won over the past several years.
Paul Richardson won the greatly coveted Employee of the Year award. Paul received glowing comments from the judges, being described as an extremely ambitious, confident and thoughtful team member. Judges also commented on Paul’s impressive award application and for embracing the Ashbourne Way to a very high standard.
Ashbourne’s prize for the Team of the Year went to the Commercial Team. This is a huge achievement for Matthew Hunt, Commercial Sales Director and his team and a fabulous start following Matthew’s move into the Commercial division. The judges believed that this award was extremely well deserved and a true testament to their teamwork and excellent work ethic.
The award for Salesperson of the Year was a very tight contest, with many of the sales team very close to winning, but it was Joe Ferraro who received the award. Joe has gone from strength to strength during his time at Ashbourne and has achieved some outstanding sales figures in the commercial department to surpass his targets in 2013.
The Player’s Player Award was voted by all of Ashbourne’s staff and this year it was very close but ultimately it went to the person with the most votes and that was Emma Sibthorpe.
The Rising Star Award was awarded to Kiara Hunt as nominated by the directors.
Finally, this year’s Tracey Izzard Award was presented to Sue Hollis for her dedication and commitment to Ashbourne Insurance. This award is a commemorative award and was decided by the Directors.
