Family-run Ashbourne Insurance is, not surprisingly, a big believer in family members working together – and has recently appointed the brother of one if its employees to prove the point!
Independent insurance broker Ashbourne with two retail offices in East Herts appointed David Richardson, brother of Paul Richardson who has worked for two years in retail sales at the Cheshunt branch.
David is based at the Hoddesdon branch and on completion of his training will join the team as a retail sales advisor. He was joined by another new recruit William Courtney who will be based at Cheshunt also as a retail sales advisor.
Matthew Hunt, Sales Director, said: “It’s great that in this current economic climate we are still able to take on new recruits and with unemployment at an all time high Ashbourne are bucking the trend. We are finding that as people’s finances get tighter they are increasingly turning to reputable insurance brokers who they trust to find them the most suitable policies at the best prices. We provide a personal service and can ensure that policies really do meet people’s requirements – something it isn’t always possible to do online. Our customers find it reassuring to know that they are properly covered, they trust our local family-run business and that in the event of a claim their policy will pay out.”
Ashbourne Insurance was established over 30 years ago and has offices in Amwell Street, Hoddesdon and High Street, Cheshunt. It offers a wide range of business and personal insurance along with a claims advisory service. It is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
