Ashbourne Finalists In Four Of HCC 2012 Awards

Ashbourne Insurance has been announced as a finalist in four different categories in the newly launched Inspiring Hertfordshire Business Awards 2012.  Ashbourne based in Hoddesdon and Cheshunt is the only company in the Broxbourne Borough to be finalists in four categories.
Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, launched the awards in January to celebrate success and achievement and boost business confidence in Hertfordshire.  It has had a massive high quality response.

Finance Director and finalist, Sarah Smits said: Our team was delighted to receive the news that Ashbourne has been nominated in the HCC Awards and in particular for our high standards of customer service and excellence in business.  Further, I am delighted that the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce award judges found merit in the efforts I have made to lead and inspire our team of dedicated insurance professionals.  We are very much looking forward to May 17th
The categories that the Award judges have shortlisted Ashbourne for include:

Business of The Year (This award will demonstrate all-round excellence in business)
Entrepreneur of the Year – Sarah Smits, Ashbourne Finance Director has been nominated (This award will recognise the outstanding efforts of an individual who has been inspirational in achieving high performance of their company or organisation.)
Excellence in Customer Service (This award is designed for businesses to showcase excellence and achievement in customer care) and
Excellence in People Development (This award will be presented to an individual or organisation that has played an outstanding role in skills development within their business or wider community).

Chamber Chairman, Neville Reyner CBE DL, said, We have been overwhelmed by the response to these awards. The quality of entries was staggering and presented an almost impossible challenge for the judges. My thanks to all those who entered, our hard pressed judges and our sponsors without whose support these awards would not be possible. I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to all those who entered and, in particular, to those who were shortlisted The winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner at the Porsche Centre Hatfield on 17th May.
