What to do in the event of an accident…

If you are involved in an accident, here is a list of things that you should do:-

• Get as much information as possible.
• Ask the other driver(s) involved for their names and addresses and make a note of the vehicle registration numbers.
• Ask for the name of their insurers and, if possible, policy number.
• DO NOT ADMIT LIABILITY.
• Try to obtain names and addresses of any witness.
• There may be an injury and if so they are obliged to inform the Police.
